Sr PHP Developer

Role & responsibilities

• Design application architecture, database schemas, APIs, and reusable components.
• Implement workflows, approvals, role-based access, audit trails, reporting, and business rules.
• Integrate applications with third-party services, payment platforms, and other enterprise systems.
• Improve application performance, reliability, security, and scalability.
• Write automated tests, review code, troubleshoot production issues, and maintain technical documentation.

Preferred candidate profile

• Proven experience delivering and maintaining business applications used in day-to-day operations.
• Strong knowledge of modern PHP, object-oriented programming, and maintainable software design.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL, including schema design, indexing, transactions, and query optimization.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and integrating external systems.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, input validation, and secure handling of sensitive data.
• Experience with automated testing, Git, code reviews, and CI/CD workflows.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frontend integration.
