Job Description :
We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. Network Engineer with strong expertise in switching and routing technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-level network infrastructure with a focus on high availability, performance, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities :
Required Skills :
- Design, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure.
- Manage and optimize LAN, WAN, and data center networks.
- Deploy and support routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP.
- Configure and manage Layer 2/3 switches and routers (Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent).
- Implement VLANs, trunking, and network segmentation.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues using diagnostic tools.
- Participate in capacity planning and scalability initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network architecture and security.
- Maintain network documentation and topology diagrams.
- Perform upgrades, patches, and scheduled maintenance with minimal downtime.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and act as a subject matter expert.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking.
- Strong expertise in LAN/WAN technologies.
- Deep understanding of routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP).
- Experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking equipment.
- Knowledge of high availability and failover solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Good communication and team collaboration abilities.
