Sr. Mechanical Test Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Test Engineer with strong functional understanding, technical depth, and excellent technical skills. The ideal candidate will collaborate with different engineering and systems teams, driving complex testing tasks

Key Responsibilities

- Execute regular Mechanical Load Testing, Foundation Testing, Fatigue Testing and Dynamometer Testing tasks

- Work with cross-functional teams to understand new product or R&D testing requirements, define test procedures and help design the testing fixtures

- Identify the requirements for new testing equipment/machines to execute new product or R&D testing

- Work with suppliers/vendors to define technical requirements and coordinate with them for manufacturing follow ups. Conduct the Pre Dispatch Inspection before machine/equipment dispatch from vendor location

- Coordinate with facilities team for installation and commissioning of new machines/equipment

- Work with other test lab teams for better collaboration and knowledge sharing

- Implement safer and more efficient work practices

- Mentor new technicians/test engineers

Technical & Functional Skills

- Strong experience in Mechanical Testing techniques

- Strong understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics systems

- Good stakeholder management and communication skills

- Understanding of manufacturing processes

- Strong safety acumen

- Self driven and self motivated individual

Candidate Profile

- Posses mechanical engineering degree or diploma

- Strong functional thinker with technical expertise

- Good written and verbal communication skills

- Detail-oriented with strong execution discipline
