You will own defined-scope initiatives end-to-end while leading key workstreams within larger, multi-stream engagements. The position combines project leadership, client partnership, financial oversight, risk management, and cross-functional coordination. You will work closely with senior leaders, clients, healthcare professionals, vendors, and internal specialists to keep programs aligned and moving forward. Success requires strong organization, sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate challenges before they affect delivery. This is an opportunity to contribute to a collaborative strategic execution function while helping establish scalable and repeatable delivery practices. The role is well suited to an experienced project professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys translating complex objectives into actionable plans.
Accountabilities: Own the end-to-end planning and delivery of defined-scope medical, clinical, and commercial programs, from initial planning through execution and close-out.
Lead specific workstreams or components of larger, complex, multi-stream programs, ensuring milestones, timelines, budgets, and deliverables remain on track.
Translate client and internal objectives into clear, executable delivery plans, while monitoring progress and escalating risks, issues, and key decisions when appropriate.
Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for assigned programs or workstreams and support senior colleagues during client planning sessions and meetings.
Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, healthcare professionals, vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders.
Coordinate with Client Partners, Scientific Partners, Program Management, Event Management, Creative, Content & Production, and other internal teams to ensure effective program delivery.
Provide clear briefs, requirements, timelines, and expectations to internal contributors and facilitate alignment throughout planning, rehearsals, and execution.
Track project budgets and timelines, support financial reconciliation and program close-out, and help ensure delivery remains within agreed scope and financial parameters.
Review program deliverables for accuracy, consistency, completeness, and quality, identifying potential issues early and developing practical solutions.
Apply established strategic execution processes, templates, and SOPs consistently across programs.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying more effective ways of working, sharing lessons learned, and supporting scalable and repeatable delivery practices.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement across assigned programs and teams.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Arts, Science, or a related discipline, combined with at least 4 years of project management experience delivering medical events, medical education programs, training materials, or similar initiatives within an agency environment.
Demonstrated experience delivering medical, clinical, or commercial programs in an agency or comparable professional services environment.
Proven ability to independently manage defined-scope programs while contributing effectively to larger and more complex initiatives.
Strong project management capabilities, including experience managing timelines, budgets, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and competing priorities.
Experience working directly with clients and developing confidence in client-facing communication and leadership situations.
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage delivery complexity while maintaining quality.
Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and stakeholder communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and build productive relationships across different functions and levels of seniority.
Demonstrated judgment in identifying risks, resolving issues, and determining when matters should be escalated to senior leadership.
A collaborative mindset with growing leadership capabilities and the ability to take ownership while supporting broader team objectives.
Comfortable working in a professional virtual environment and, depending on location and program requirements, participating in occasional in-person activities and onsite execution.
Willingness to travel when required to support program delivery.
