Sr Manager R & D (Hardware)

Lead hardware design and development of power electronics systems including converters, inverters, SMPS, high-voltage power supplies, and magnetics.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end hardware development lifecycle.
• Architecture design for power electronics systems.
• Circuit design (Analog, Digital, Power stages).
• Design of high-frequency transformers, inductors, and magnetic components.
• Simulation (PSPICE, MATLAB, LTspice).
• Component selection & derating calculations.
• Thermal design & reliability engineering.
• EMI/EMC compliance planning.
• Prototype validation & failure analysis.
• Mentor junior engineers.
• Coordinate with production & quality teams.
• Vendor technical evaluation.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Power Topologies (Resonant, LLC, PWM, Full-Bridge, Half-Bridge).
• High voltage design experience.
• Magnetics design expertise.
• PCB layout guidance (Altium / OrCAD).
• Knowledge of industrial standards.
• Risk assessment & reliability engineering.

Qualification:

B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech EEE
Experience: 3–8+ years in Power Electronics
