About this role
We are looking for an experienced Sr. Manager R&D (Hardware) to lead the design and development of power electronics systems, including converters, inverters, SMPS, high-voltage power supplies, and magnetic components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end hardware design and development of power electronics systems.
- Design analog, digital, and power circuits, including high-frequency transformers and inductors.
- Perform circuit simulations using PSPICE, MATLAB, and LTspice.
- Handle component selection, thermal design, reliability engineering, and EMI/EMC compliance.
- Lead prototype testing, validation, and failure analysis.
- Guide junior engineers and coordinate with production, quality, and vendors.
Required Skills:
- Strong expertise in power electronics topologies, including LLC, PWM, Full-Bridge, and Half-Bridge.
- Experience in high-voltage design and magnetics development.
- Knowledge of PCB design tools such as Altium or OrCAD.
- Understanding of industrial standards, risk assessment, and reliability engineering.
