About this role
Responsibilities
- Design and develop electronic circuits, components, and systems to meet product requirements and specifications.
- Perform schematic capture, PCB layout, and prototyping for electronic hardware designs.
- Conduct testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electronic hardware to ensure performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with software and mechanical engineering teams to integrate electronic hardware into overall product designs.
- Evaluate and select electronic components and materials for use in product designs.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in electronic hardware designs.
Education and Experience
- Position Title: Manager - Embedded Systems (Hardware Design)
- Education: Bachelor7s or Master7s degree in Electronics/Electronics Communication or related field.
- Experience: 5 - 8 years
- Location: Navi Mumbai
Required Skills
- Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., Cadence, PCB viewer)
- Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design principles
- Familiarity with microcontrollers, sensors, power electronics (Power Supply or SMPS), and wireless communication technologies
- Experience with design for manufacturability and design for testability principles
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
Good to Have
- Experience with embedded systems design and hardware development with experience of 3-4 years in high-speed design or mixed signal processing
- Knowledge of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and signal integrity (SI) considerations in electronic hardware design
- Familiarity with simulation and modelling tools for electronic circuits (e.g., SPICE, Simulink)
