Sr Manager - Employee Relations (US Staffing)

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Senior Manager Contractor Engagement to lead and strengthen contractor engagement, retention, compliance, and operational excellence across our US Staffing business. This role will own the end-to-end contractor experience, partnering closely with Staffing, Operations, HR, Payroll, Compliance, Finance, and client-facing teams to ensure a seamless and engaging journey for contractors.

The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in US staffing operations, contractor lifecycle management, stakeholder management, employee/contractor engagement, and process optimization, with a demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities-

• Own the end-to-end contractor engagement and experience strategy across the US Staffing lifecycle.
• Drive initiatives to improve contractor satisfaction, retention, recognition, productivity, and overall experience.
• Oversee contractor lifecycle activities including onboarding, deployment, extensions, conversions, and offboarding.
• Partner with Staffing, Operations, HR, Payroll, Compliance, Finance, Legal, and Client teams to ensure seamless contractor support and service delivery.
• Establish effective communication, governance, SLAs, and escalation mechanisms across the contractor lifecycle.
• Monitor key metrics including engagement, attrition, onboarding TAT, extensions, payroll/timesheet issues, and resolution SLAs.
• Lead and develop the contractor engagement team, establishing clear goals, KPIs, accountability, and performance standards.
• Build strong relationships with contractors, clients, and internal stakeholders, serving as a senior escalation point for complex issues.
• Use data, feedback, and root-cause analysis to identify trends and drive continuous improvement, automation, and process optimization.
• Ensure contractor processes align with US staffing regulations, client requirements, compliance standards, and company policies.
• Present contractor engagement trends, risks, and improvement initiatives to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications & Experience-

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Operations, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in US Staffing for Contractor Management or US HR Operations roles.
• Strong experience managing contractor populations within a US Staffing environment.
• Strong understanding of the US contingent workforce lifecycle.
• Proven people leadership and cross-functional stakeholder management experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and process improvement skills.
• Ability to manage high-volume operations in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience-

• MSP/VMS-driven staffing environments.
• US contractor compliance, payroll, timesheets, onboarding, and offboarding.
• ATS, CRM, VMS, HRIS, or workforce management platforms.
• Contractor engagement and retention programs.
• Dashboards, analytics, automation, and process optimization.
• Managing geographically distributed teams.
