Sr. Manager - Controlling

This role in summary

As a key member of the Controlling team, the incumbent will lead the preparation of financial statements, end-to-end audits for a listed company, monthly closings, and the enforcement of accounting policies.

Responsibilities:

Leading a highly engaged team of 6 resources responsible for Stakeholders Management, Business Partnering, KPIs delivery wrt book closing, ensuring hygiene of financial information and reports.

Managing all accounting policies and ensuring correct accounting, policy compliance, enhancing IFC controls.

Executing the end-to-end audit closure process for a listed company, both quarterly and annually, without any major audit point by effectively collaborating with auditors and business team.

Driving the preparation of financial statements and overseeing the monthly and periodic closing processes.

Regular support to other function eg direct tax, indirect tax for timely closure of tax related matters.

Supervise and Lead monthly/ periodic process review with relevant stakeholders.

Standardizing process narratives and SOPs to ensure operational transparency and audit readiness.

Capacity planning for team members to ensure optimum resources utilization.

Developing a talent pool to manage contingencies and succession planning.

Minimum requirements

Qualification: CA

Experience: 8-10 years of experience.

Team leadership experience preferably in an India.

Expert knowledge of Ind AS, US GAAP, SOX Controls, IFC.

Hands-on experience of Financial processes, financial systems, stakeholders management and annual/quarterly audit closure for listed entities.
