Sr. Manager / AGM - Planning ( Irrigation)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor project schedules, baseline programmes, and detailed execution plans using Primavera P6.
• Develop WBS, activity sequencing, resource planning, and project timelines.
• Monitor project progress against approved schedules and identify delays, critical activities, and potential bottlenecks.
• Prepare periodic progress reports, S-curves, and look-ahead schedules.
• Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions to ensure timely project completion.
• Coordinate with project execution, engineering, procurement, and management teams for schedule updates.
• Prepare and review catch-up plans, recovery schedules, and revised project programmes.
• Analyse project performance and provide timely updates to senior management.
• Ensure effective planning and monitoring in line with project milestones and contractual requirements.

Educational Qualification

B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.

Experience & Skills

• Relevant experience in planning and scheduling for large-scale infrastructure / irrigation projects, especially dams.
• Strong hands-on working knowledge of Primavera P6 is mandatory.
• Good understanding of project scheduling, progress monitoring, critical path analysis, and resource planning.
• Proficiency in project reporting, schedule analysis, and coordination with site teams.
• Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.

Preferred Candidate

A planning professional capable of independently managing project schedules and providing effective planning support for timely execution of dam and irrigation projects.
