Sr Lead Analyst - FP&A

Responsibilities

• Senior Lead Analyst - Accounting Exp - 8 - 11 years
• Shift Timings - 1.30 PM - 10.30 PM
• Support the SCBU FPA team in process redesign, reporting improvements, and system enhancements to align with evolving business requirements.
• Design intuitive, leadership-friendly visualizations that highlight KPIs, financial trends, and business drivers.
• Automate manual reports and recurring processes using Power BI, Power Query, and other analytical tools to improve efficiency and reduce turnaround time.
• Collect, clean, aggregate, and validate data from multiple SCBUs and enterprise systems to ensure accuracy and reliability of reporting.
• Establish and maintain data links between different sources, building data models, and maintaining reporting datasets to support end-to-end dashboard operations.
• (Power BI datasets, Oracle Essbase/ Peoplesoft, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, etc) to create a seamless reporting ecosystem.
• Support forecasting, actuals reporting, and value analysis by preparing data inputs and performing first-level variance reviews.
• Provide initial analytical support for performance metrics, and operational KPIs, highlighting anomalies and key insights.
• Assist in documenting processes, data flows, and dashboard refresh cycles.
• Highlight trends, outliers, and data inconsistencies.
• Work collaboratively with SCBU FPA teams and cross-BU finance partners to share best practices and ensure alignment of data and reporting standards.
• Gain a strong understandng of financial data structures, systems, and reporting tools used within the organization.
• Manage assigned deliverables independently, including prioritizing multiple tasks, meeting deadlines, and maintaining high-quality outputs.
• Prepare clear, visually effective presentations and insights for leadership consumption.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Master s degree / Professional Degree / Relevant Industry Certification. Preferably Chartered Accountant or MBA Finance.
• Experience: 6-10 years of relevant experience in handling complex datasets, analytics, reporting. (preferably in BFSI Industry, either in GCC / service provider environment)
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Essbase/ Peoplesoft, Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, Power Query), PowerPoint.
• Other Skills: Comfort working with large datasets and connecting to varied data sources.
• Financial Knowledge: Basic understanding of financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet).
• Data Handling: Experience with data cleansing, validation, and transformation.
• Tools: Exposure to SQL or other database/querying tools.
• Analytical Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving ability and high attention to detail.
• Communication: Good communication skills with ability to translate data into insights.
• Personal: Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively.
• Attitude: Eagerness to learn and develop deeper financial acumen.
