Sr./Jr. Executive- Maintenance-(EU GMP)Pharma Formulation Plant, Pune

Roles & Responsibility:

1. Utility Operations & Maintenance

• Operate and maintain utility equipment such as:
• Boilers
• Air Compressors
• Chillers
• HVAC Systems
• AHUs (Air Handling Units)
• Water Systems
• Monitor utility parameters and maintain records.
• Ensure uninterrupted utility supply to production and warehouse areas.

2. Machinery Maintenance

• Perform routine maintenance of production and packing machines.
• Attend machine breakdowns and ensure timely rectification.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Coordinate with production teams to minimize downtime.

3. Preventive Maintenance

• Execute preventive maintenance schedules for equipment, utilities, and facility systems.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly preventive checks.
• Maintain maintenance logs and checklists.
• Recommend improvements for equipment reliability and efficiency.

4. Boiler Operations

• Monitor boiler operations and steam generation systems.
• Maintain boiler-related records and ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Coordinate annual inspections and statutory compliance activities.

5. Air Compressor Maintenance

• Monitor compressor performance and air pressure parameters.
• Carry out routine servicing and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure availability of compressed air for production activities.

6. AHU & HVAC Maintenance

• Maintain AHUs, ventilation systems, and HVAC equipment.
• Monitor temperature, humidity, and differential pressure parameters.
• Ensure compliance with GMP environmental requirements.

7. Basic Electrical Works

• Perform basic electrical troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Attend electrical breakdowns related to plant equipment.
• Replace faulty electrical components such as switches, contactors, relays, and indicators.
• Follow electrical safety procedures during maintenance activities.

8. Welding & Fabrication

• Carry out basic welding and fabrication work as required.
• Repair equipment structures, piping supports, and utility lines.
• Coordinate with external vendors for major fabrication activities.

9. Plumbing Works

• Perform maintenance of water pipelines, valves, pumps, and sanitary fittings.
• Attend leakages and plumbing-related breakdowns.
• Ensure proper functioning of water distribution systems.

10. Audit & Documentation

• Maintain maintenance records, logbooks, breakdown reports, and preventive maintenance documents.
• Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits.
• Ensure documentation complies with GMP, GDP, and company requirements.
• Prepare maintenance reports and equipment history records.

11. Factory Maintenance

• Conduct routine inspections of factory premises and utility areas.
• Ensure upkeep of plant infrastructure and facility equipment.
• Coordinate with contractors for civil and maintenance activities.
• Ensure workplace cleanliness and adherence to safety standards.

12. Safety & Compliance

• Follow GMP, EHS, and company safety guidelines.
• Use appropriate PPE while performing maintenance activities.
• Participate in safety training and risk assessment activities.
• Report unsafe conditions and corrective actions promptly.

Knowledge Required

1. 2-6years of experience in Formulation Pharmaceutical Plant.

2. Relevant Experience in Pharma formulation plant.

3. Computer proficiency in MS Office, Excel, e-mail and internet functions.
