Sr Java fullstack developer

Role Description The Sr Java Fullstack Developer will work in a full-time, remote capacity, designing and implementing end-to-end web applications that support Pracheta.edutech’s learning platforms and internal tools. This role involves developing robust backend services in Java, integrating APIs, and managing databases, while also building responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces. The developer will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to refine requirements, ensure high-quality architecture, and deliver scalable features. Daily responsibilities include writing clean, maintainable code, conducting code reviews, troubleshooting production issues, and optimizing performance and security across the stack. The role also entails contributing to technical best practices, mentoring team members, and continuously improving the development and deployment processes.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Software Development using Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot).
• Hands-on experience in Front-End Development with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue) and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
• Demonstrated capability in Full-Stack Development, integrating front-end and back-end components into cohesive, scalable applications.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, relational and/or NoSQL databases, and version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and devops practices (e.g., AWS, Azure, CI/CD pipelines) is highly beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative team environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and experience participating in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
