We are looking for a high-caliber Senior Java Developer with strong backend engineering expertise, AWS experience, and exposure to data-intensive systems. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in building scalable, cloud-native applications and has experience working within Financial Services or Capital Markets environments.
You will play a key role in designing and developing enterprise-grade systems that power complex business workflows, data pipelines, and high-performance transaction processing platforms.

What We re Looking For
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java and modern Java frameworks
- Architect and build cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services
- Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and event-driven systems
- Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code following best practices
- Work with Apache Groovy for scripting, automation, or platform customization
- Build and optimize data processing workflows (batch and/or streaming)
- Contribute to architectural decisions and system design
- Participate in code reviews and enforce engineering excellence standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, DevOps, and Data Engineering
- Support production deployments and troubleshoot performance issues
- 8+ years of experience in Core Java
- Strong expertise in frameworks such as:
- Spring / Spring Boot
- Hibernate / JPA
- RESTful API development
- Hands-on experience with Apache Groovy
- Solid understanding of AWS cloud services, including:
- EC2, S3, Lambda
- RDS / DynamoDB
- IAM
- CloudWatch
- Experience with:
- Microservices architecture
- Containerization (Docker)
- CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles and design patterns
- Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with Git-based version control
- Experience in Financial Services or Capital Markets
- Understanding of:
- Trading systems
- Risk platforms
- Market data systems
- Transaction processing
- Experience building data pipelines or large-scale data processing systems
- Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
- Exposure to infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong problem-solving and system design skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Ownership mindset and attention to detail
- Comfort working in high-performance, regulated environments
