Sr Java Backend Developer

Job Description:

As a Senior Engineer, you will design and build scalable distributed systems that power core enterprise platforms. This is a hands-on engineering role with strong ownership of:
- Backend system design and implementation
- Distributed system reliability and scalability
- Production readiness and operational excellence
- High-quality, secure, and maintainable code

You will operate with autonomy within your domain while collaborating closely with peers and technical leaders.
- 4â€7 years of software development experience .
- 3+ years building scalable backend applications using Java.

Must-have Skills

- Strong expertise in Java and/or Kotlin (Spring Boot, Micronaut or similar frameworks) .
- Microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Event-driven systems and messaging platforms like Kafka.
- SQL and NoSQL databases and Caching.
- Cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP, Azure or similar).
- Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes or similar).
- CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
- Strong problem-solving skills with solid understanding of data structures and algorithms .

Nice-to have Skills

Familiarity with AI or automation frameworks.
Experience working with high-throughput, low-latency systems .
