Sr Instructional Designer - Learning

Scope:

As a Sr Instructional Designer within the Global Enablement team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the learning and development landscape at Blue Yonder. This position demands a blend of strategic vision and practical execution, focusing on the creation of technical training materials and learning paths that support the growth and development of our global workforce, customers, and partners.

Tools you will be utilizing:

• Utilize tools such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Articulate 360, Synthesia, LEAi, Adobe Captivate, HTML, and other relevant authoring tools to create and design training materials.

What you’ll do:

• Strategic Learning Design: Develop and implement comprehensive learning strategies that align with organizational goals and enhance the capabilities of our global workforce.

• Technical Course Development: Lead the design and development of technical training materials, including eLearning modules, instructor-led training, and hands-on labs, with a focus on our supply chain solutions.

• Learning Project Management: Oversee learning projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and exceed quality standards.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with subject matter experts, department leads, and external partners to gather requirements, solicit feedback, and ensure learning solutions meet the needs of diverse audiences.

• Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of the latest trends in learning and development, incorporating innovative approaches and technologies to enhance the learning experience.

• Learning Analytics: Utilize data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of learning programs, making data-driven decisions to continuously improve learning outcomes.

• Mentorship and Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of learning and development within the team.

What we are looking for:

• A minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in learning and development, with a strong focus on learning project management and technical course development.

• Proven track record of designing and implementing successful learning strategies in a global, technology-driven organization.

• Extensive experience with instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, and the application of learning technologies leveraging AI.

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

• A bachelor’s degree in education, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in instructional design, learning technologies, or project management are highly desirable.

• Familiarity with ERP systems and supply chain solutions is a plus.

• Fundamental understanding of Learning Management System (LMS) deployment processes.
