Roles and Responsibilities

A Quality Line Inspector monitors production processes on the shop floor to ensure products meet quality standards. They inspect materials, check finished goods, and identify defects during manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect products during different stages of production
• Check raw materials and finished goods for quality standards
• Identify defects, damages, or deviations from specifications
• Record inspection results and maintain quality reports
• Stop or report production if major quality issues are found
• Work closely with production and quality teams to resolve issues
• Ensure compliance with company quality procedures and safety standards
• Perform random sampling and testing as required

Required Skills

• Strong attention to detail
• Basic knowledge of quality control (QA/QC)
• Ability to use measuring tools (vernier caliper, micrometer, gauges)
• Good observation and reporting skills
• Basic computer knowledge for data entry
• Problem-solving ability
