SR. GIS Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Data Collection and Management: Gather geographic and spatial data from field surveys, GPS devices, satellite imagery, and public datasets, then organize them into structured databases.
• Map Creation and Cartography: Design, edit, and produce accurate digital and print maps, layouts, and visual representations using GIS software like ArcGIS or QGIS.
• Spatial Analysis: Analyze spatial patterns, trends, and relationships to provide actionable insights for urban planning, environmental monitoring, or business operations.
• Database Maintenance: Maintain, update, and clean spatial and attribute tables to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and standardization.
• Technical Support and Collaboration: Assist project teams and external stakeholders by troubleshooting GIS applications, sharing layers, and translating complex spatial data into clear reports or presentations.
• Process Automation & Scripting: Write or use basic scripts (such as Python or SQL) to automate repetitive mapping and geoprocessing tasks
