Sr Executive Procurement :: SGD Pharma :: Hyderabad

Position Summary

Responsible for procurement of engineering, civil, electrical, mechanical and utility-related materials and services. Drive sourcing, vendor management, contract administration, cost optimization, project procurement and compliance while supporting plant operations and capital projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage and develop existing and potential suppliers and maintain the Approved Vendor List.

2. Develop sourcing strategies, procurement frameworks, contracts and supplier agreements.

3. Handle procurement activities related to Capex, civil, electrical, mechanical and utility projects.

4. Monitor projects and provide weekly procurement status updates and reports.

5. Achieve procurement KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

6. Identify, evaluate and onboard new suppliers; maintain supplier database.

7. Negotiate with local and international suppliers and prepare comparative cost analyses.

8. Drive cost saving initiatives, budgeting and procurement targets.

9. Support statutory compliance and manage contractual correspondence and risks.

10. Maintain effective supplier relationships and ensure service levels are achieved.

11. Prepare and release purchase orders and coordinate logistics for timely material availability.

12. Coordinate with Stores, Finance, Engineering and GES teams for MIGO, MIRO, GST and vendor payments.

13. Represent organizational values and business objectives with internal and external stakeholders.

14. Identify and implement supply chain improvement and optimization projects.

15. Ensure adherence to procurement transaction management best practices.

Qualifications & Competencies

• Bachelor degree in Engineering preferable, Supply Chain, Procurement or related discipline.
• Hands on experience with Process, Governance & Compliance.
• Strong knowledge of engineering procurement and capital project purchasing.
• Excellent negotiation, vendor management and contract administration skills.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
