Sr Executive / Assistant Manager - Procurement

CANDIDATE PROFILE -

5-10 years of experience in contracts management, preferably with a real estate developer, EPC contractor or infrastructure company. - Educational Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma (Civil preferred); Post Graduation in Construction Management / Contracts preferred. - Good working knowledge of EPC, item-rate and lump-sum contracts, work orders, BOQs and contract conditions. - Hands-on experience in floating RFQs, preparing comparative statements and techno-commercial evaluation of bids. - Exposure to rate analysis, variation and extra-item assessment, and contractor claims. - Strong drafting, negotiation, coordination and MS Excel skills, with attention to detail.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Prepare and review work orders, contracts, subcontracts and amendments for civil, finishing and MEP packages. - Float RFQs and tender documents, coordinate pre-bid queries and collect contractor quotations. - Prepare comparative statements, rate analysis and techno-commercial evaluations for approval. - Support negotiations and vendor finalization with the Contracts head. - Draft contract terms covering scope, rates, payment terms, milestones, LD clauses and retention. - Track contract compliance, variations, extra items and change orders during execution. - Review contractor claims and extension of time (EOT) requests and assess their cost impact. - Coordinate with Projects, Billing, Procurement, Legal and Finance teams on contract matters. - Maintain contract records, work order trackers and MIS reports, and keep documents audit-ready. - Support contract closure, final bill reconciliation and dispute resolution when required.
