About this role
The Sr. Accounts Officer Accounts Payable will manage end-to-end AP operations, including invoice processing, payments, reconciliations, TE, direct debits, and vendor queries. The role requires strong AP process knowledge, ERP exposure, and the ability to ensure timely processing, compliance, and adherence to SLAs/KPIs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable operations , including invoice and credit note processing with appropriate approvals and documentation.
- Execute supplier payment runs , monitor aged creditors, and ensure timely clearance of outstanding items.
- Perform supplier statement/vendor reconciliations and maintain accurate purchase ledger records.
- Handle end-to-end Travel Expense (TE), Direct Debit Management, and Credit Card Reconciliations .
- Investigate and resolve vendor and stakeholder queries , including invoice discrepancies, missing invoices, and payment-related issues.
- Support month-end closing and AP subledger reconciliation , including investigation and explanation of variances.
- Ensure compliance with SOX controls, company policies, governance, and internal/external audit requirements .
Key Success Measures
- Timely Invoice Processing Ensure invoices and credit notes are processed accurately within agreed SLA timelines.
- Reconciliation Accuracy Complete vendor, credit card, direct debit, and AP reconciliations accurately and within defined timelines.
- Month-End Closure Complete AP month-end activities and subledger reconciliations accurately within closure timelines.
Skills Experience
- Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field-B.com/MBA/M.com/CA Inter
- 3-5+ years of experience in Accounts Payable (invoice processing, bank reconciliation, vendor reconciliation)
- Microsoft Excel and Reporting Tools
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communicationable to translate numbers into insights.
- High attention to detail, ownership, and deadline discipline
