As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will bring your rich technical and leadership experience in driving a team of 2-3 scrum teams. The overall span of the team would be 12-20 and would be the front-line manager role, to start with. As a senior leader, you will work closely with multiple principal engineers, mentor and coach engineers. You will not only drive impactful business outcomes but also take part actively in driving the technical architecture. As a seasoned leader, you will bring in world-class engineering excellence and operational excellence. API extensibility addresses two major gaps for Jira Platform preventing future agentic and cloud growth. First, reactive gaps : customers are hitting real blockers today driven by company-wide initiatives in motion, including DC to Cloud migration, Connect to Forge migration, and rate limiting rollout. Legacy API gaps that were once tolerable have become migration-critical. Second, proactive structural gaps : Establish Governance as the foundation, Enterprise Readiness to close the immediate gaps, and Agent-first Jira as the strategic bet.
