Sr Engineer

Job Summary Responsibilities Maintenance Management

• Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities for plant equipment.
• Ensure minimum downtime and maximum equipment availability.
• Monitor equipment performance and implement reliability improvement initiatives.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and update maintenance schedules, SOPs, and maintenance records.

Equipment Utilities

• Maintain mechanical equipment such as pumps, compressors, blowers, conveyors, gearboxes, motors, valves, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Monitor and maintain utility systems including air compressors, cooling towers, boilers, and water systems.
• Oversee equipment installation, commissioning, and modification projects.

Planning Cost Control

• Prepare annual maintenance plans and shutdown schedules.
• Manage spare parts inventory and ensure critical spares availability.
• Control maintenance costs while improving equipment reliability.
• Coordinate with procurement for spare parts and service requirements.

Safety Compliance

• Ensure compliance with plant safety standards, permit-to-work systems, and statutory regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure safe maintenance practices.
• Support audits related to safety, quality, and environmental management systems.

Team Management

• Supervise technicians and contract manpower.
• Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance personnel.
• Coordinate with production and other departments for smooth plant operations.
