Sr Engineer Waste Management - High-rise & Complex Buildings

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Waste Engineer to join our Specialisms team. The successful candidate will support the delivery of waste management and environmental consultancy services across a diverse portfolio of building and infrastructure projects throughout the Middle East and global regions.

This role requires a technically strong professional with experience in waste management for buildings, environmental consultancy, and multidisciplinary design coordination.

Responsibilities

• Prepare waste management strategies, calculations, and technical reports for a variety of developments.
• Design and review waste management systems and facilities for residential, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, mixed-use, and high-rise buildings.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP, structural, and other design disciplines throughout project delivery.
• Provide environmental consultancy support, including environmental planning, assessments, and compliance advice.
• Produce high-quality technical reports, presentations, and client deliverables.
• Attend client meetings and technical workshops, providing practical engineering solutions.
• Support proposal preparation and contribute to business development initiatives.
• Mentor junior team members and promote technical excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
• 6-10 years of relevant experience in waste management and environmental consultancy.
• Proven experience on building developments, particularly high-rise and mixed-use projects.
• Strong knowledge of waste generation calculations, waste management design, and environmental best practices.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit.
• Excellent technical report writing and presentation skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in the Middle East and familiarity with local authority requirements will be considered an advantage.
