We re looking for a Sr Engineer to join Clario, a part of ThermoFisher Scientific, where you will design, build, and enhance enterprise-grade, cloud-hosted applications that power our healthcare technology platform. - Design, develop, and maintain C#/. NET microservices and Angular-based front-end applications.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs while writing efficient, scalable, and maintainable code.
- Develop and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS, including services such as Amazon EKS, following best practices for reliability and scalability.
- Participate in technical discussions and contribute innovative solutions that balance quality, performance, and delivery timelines.
- Develop and maintain unit and integration tests to support software quality and continuous improvement.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and assist with troubleshooting and resolving production issues.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to understand architectural decisions and implement solutions aligned with system design principles.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for application features, designs, and operational processes.
- Leverage AI coding assistance tools, including GitHub Copilot and Tabnine, to improve development efficiency and code quality.
- Partner closely with Product, Quality Assurance, DevOps, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Participate actively in Agile or SAFe ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the development lifecycle.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong experience in C#/. NET application development.
- Working knowledge of Angular and modern front-end development practices.
- Experience developing and deploying applications within AWS cloud environments.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
- Proficiency with Git-based version control systems and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server, database design principles, and query optimization.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience working with cloud-native application architectures and modern software development practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems and deliver effective solutions.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills within Agile development teams.
- Experience using or willingness to adopt AI-assisted development tools in daily workflows.
- Exposure to regulated industries such as healthcare, life sciences, or financial services is preferred.
