Sr. Engineer - Production

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure strong technical knowledge of plastic processing, particularly for automotive and white-goods plastic components.
• Handle mould and machine setting, including process parameter setting and optimization.
• Monitor and control the production process to improve cycle time, maximize machine utilization, and enhance productivity.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, analyze defects, identify root causes, and prepare and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
• Prepare, maintain, and implement Process Sheets, Work Instructions (WI), and OJT training materials.
• Maintain accurate production and quality documentation, including daily production reports, rejection reports, and ERP records.
• Coordinate effectively with Quality, Tool Room, Maintenance, and other cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production operations.
• Ensure implementation and sustenance of 5S, Kaizen, visual management, and continuous improvement practices on the shop floor.
• Drive improvements in process efficiency, productivity, quality, and machine utilization through systematic problem-solving and process optimization.
