Senior Engineer - Offshore Subsea Pipeline - Chennai / Gurgaon / Hyderabad

Job Summary


Responsibilities

• Pipeline engineering, including Client Interfaces, Third Party Comments resolution
• Experience in Rigid and Flexible pipelines are considered
• Knowledge of pipeline design software such as SIMLA, OrcaFlex
• Natural Gas, H2 and CO2 pipeline design
• Pipeline Cost Estimating
• Pipeline FEA Analysis
• Subsea power cable design and management
• Mechanical and Installation Analysis / Design
• Landfall Design (for pipelines and cables)
• Project Report writing and presentations
• Support on Proposals / Tendering, preparation of CTRs (budgeting and estimation)
• Candidates may be based out of the Hyderabad or Gurgaon offices and will follow a hybrid work arrangement, subject to seat availability.
• Candidates will be required to work from the Chennai office for one week every month, or as required based on project and business needs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Structural, Mechanical or a related field
• Good understanding of structural design and marine environment
• Previous work experience in design of offshore pipelines
• Good understanding of offshore pipeline mechanical design related disciplines, incl. associated standards (DNV, etc)
• Proficiency in using FEA tools, programming, and flair for exploring AI implementations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Strong oral and written skills in English
