Sr. EHS officer/ Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Supervise the operation and maintenance of the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and oversee the work of the ETP Chemist.
• Ensure compliance with norms and guidelines prescribed by the Pollution Control Board and other statutory authorities.
• Ensure that all procedures and legal requirements related to Safety, Health, and Environment (EHS)are strictly followed.
• Conduct mock drills and safety training programs on a regular basis.
• Ensure timely completion of employee health check-ups and safety audits.
• Ensure that all fire and safety equipment,first-aid facilities, and personal protective equipment (PPE)are available and maintained in proper working condition.
• Carry out and review risk assessment studies and recommends corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain and update Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for all applicable materials.
• Maintain updated Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and records for all EHS-related activities.
