Overview

We are looking for a higher-level digital and social media strategist to grow our business across several of our consumer brands. If you are someone with stronger strategic and technical digital marketing experience, you are fit for this role. You would be coordinating with our internal marketing team to drive the overall direction of our digital and social media marketing. You need to plan, execute, and manage online campaigns to build brand awareness, grow online communities, and generate leads.

The role would include:

• Developing the overall social media and digital marketing strategy for our brands
• Planning and managing paid advertising campaigns across Instagram, Facebook/Meta and TikTok
• Developing retargeting, audience targeting and other digital advertising campaigns
• Looking at opportunities for display/banner advertising and other digital media
• Developing campaigns specifically designed to increase brand awareness, engagement and reach
• Coming up with interesting and creative content concepts with the potential to go viral
• Developing influencer and creator strategies, including identifying appropriate influencers and organising product/PR-box seeding
• Looking beyond the obvious influencers and identifying new audiences and interesting collaborations
• Working with our existing marketing team to brief and guide the content they produce
• Monitoring campaign performance and continually testing and improving what we are doing
• Providing simple reporting on what is working, what isn working and what we should do next

Senior Digital Marketing & Social Media Strategist - Hyderabad

It is important to note that, we are not looking for a social media person whose main experience is into creating Canva posts, writing captions and scheduling content. But we are looking for someone with reliable experience in digital strategy, paid social advertising, campaign management, audience targeting, influencer/creator marketing, analytics and consumer brand building.

Ideally, the person should have hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager and TikTok Ads Manager and should be able to demonstrate campaigns they have personally managed, including targeting, budgets, creative testing and results.

Australia and New Zealand are our primary markets, and so strong English is essential, and the person needs to be able to understand the Australian market, consumer behaviour and style of communication.

We would like to see examples of digital/social campaigns you have personally managed and, where possible, indication of the results the campaigns achieved. Please portray a portfolio with key aspects covering strategy, ideas and digital advertising expertise.

Requirements

Must have:

• Social Media, Digital Marketing, digital strategy, paid social advertising, campaign management, audience targeting, influencer/creator marketing, analytics and consumer brand building, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook handling. Strong English communication skills (both oral and writing)

Preferred

• Team Management, experience handling Australian and New Zealand markets
• Reporting and coordination with leadership, handling marketing for different industries
