About this role
Designation: Associate Technical Leader
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop engine components, engine accessories, genset-related systems, structural steel parts, and sheet metal components using Creo 10.
- Create and maintain 3D models, assemblies, detailed drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation in accordance with design standards.
- Support product design activities from concept through design release, validation, and manufacturing.
- Perform design modifications, engineering change implementations, and drawing updates based on project requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including application engineering, manufacturing, quality, and sourcing to ensure design feasibility and timely project execution.
- Conduct design reviews, tolerance stack-up analysis, and technical evaluations to ensure product performance and manufacturability.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements, engineering standards, and industry best practices.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Engineering Diploma or bachelor s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
- 9 to 12 years of experience in product design, drafting, and engineering of engine components, engine peripherals, gensets, structural steel, and sheet metal products.
- Strong proficiency in Creo 10 for 3D modelling, assembly creation, detailing, and drafting.
- Solid understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals, manufacturing processes, GD&T and engineering drawing standards.
- Experience in engine application engineering and related product development activities.
- Strong CAD modelling and complex assembly management skills.
- Good communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience working in a product development environment and engineering change management processes.
- Good communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and across all phases of the product design lifecycle.
- Adaptability and flexibility in dynamic project environments.
- Strong problem-solving ability and mindset.
- Attention to detail and quality orientation.
