Sr. Data Architect (Data Modeling)

Role Overview:

This program is rebuilding KPI reporting for an Automobile giant: 170 current-state metrics, consolidated into 90 governed target-state metrics across 29 harmonized families spanning 3 Business pillars. We need a Senior Data Architect to own the dimensional modeling work: designing fact and dimension tables, defining grain and relationships for each family, and resolving the data-quality issues Phase 1 surfaced, including redundant ingestion, inconsistent metric definitions across dashboards, and manual or undocumented sources.

Key Responsibilities:

Build models that serve as the foundation every downstream pipeline and dashboard builds against, ensuring accuracy and a design that can absorb new source systems without rework.

Work family-by-family alongside data engineers and BI developers as each wave of metrics moves through build.

Work directly with Client's data governance team to close open definition and source-ownership questions.

Support frequent, detailed working sessions with Client's data governance and domain stakeholders via onsite presence.

Requirements:

Deep expertise in dimensional modeling and BigQuery.

Automotive or subscription-business domain familiarity is a plus.
