Senior Data Analyst
Location: Hyderabad | Work Model: Hybrid (3 Days in Office)
Job Description
- The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for understanding business/department needs and goals and creating data-driven analysis and insight to support management decisions.
Your role responsibilities Heres what youll do.
- Construct complex queries in database management system software to pull data from multiple databases and tables, transforming raw data into meaningful, actionable results.
- Create and analyze complex financial and executive management reports, providing data-driven insights to support key business decisions.
- Query data warehouses and develop complex ad hoc reports for end users using spreadsheets, macros, and reporting tools; build and maintain data sets for reporting portals including page design, security, and report libraries.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to determine requirements and lead projects that generate required intelligence with minimal oversight, operating as a trusted advisor on issues, trends, and best practices.
- Train new analysts on internal processes, data warehouse use, reporting, and data infrastructure; provide ongoing guidance on interpreting and applying data effectively.
- Perform and analyze data integrity audits; evaluate and propose recommendations on methods and procedures for managing data, identifying and resolving integrity issues within data warehouses.
- SQL, Microsoft Excel, Power BI
What youll need to be successful in this role:
- Bachelors degree with 6+ years of experience as a Data Analyst.
- Strong SQL experience with proficiency in querying data warehouses and constructing complex, multi-table queries.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills including macros, with proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office suite.
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing technologies and Power BI for reporting and data visualization.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to summarize large quantities of information into clear, actionable insights.
