Sr Credit Manager - CV & CE| Ahmedabad

To evaluate complex Commercial Vehicle and Construction Equipment credit proposals through assessment of business performance, customer viability and portfolio risks. The role contributes to prudent lending and sustainable portfolio growth.

Experience Range : 5 to 12 years

Qualifications:

CA/ MBA Finance

• Appraise CV & CE loan proposals, conduct detailed credit and risk assessment, scrutinize customer, financial and collateral documents, and recommend/sanction proposals within defined TAT and delegated authority.
• Conduct customer interactions, personal discussions, field visits, and due diligence to assess repayment capacity, business viability, and creditworthiness.
• Ensure adherence to the Banks credit policies, underwriting standards, regulatory guidelines, and risk management framework.
• Monitor portfolio performance, delinquency trends, credit losses, and early warning signals, and recommend corrective actions to maintain portfolio quality.
• Review loan documentation and credit conditions to ensure compliance prior to disbursement and throughout the loan lifecycle.
• Prepare, review, and monitor credit MIS, portfolio reports, exception reports, and risk indicators for effective portfolio management.
• Support and guide business teams on credit policies, underwriting norms, risk assessment, and policy changes through regular training and engagement.
• Identify process, policy, and control gaps and recommend improvements to strengthen credit quality, operational efficiency, and risk controls.
• Collaborate with Business, Operations, Collections, Legal, and Risk teams to ensure effective credit decision-making and portfolio management.
• Undertake other credit risk management and portfolio monitoring responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Credit.
