Sr Content Writer Individual Contributor

Job Summary

This role is responsible for creating high-quality, client-focused written content across formats (reports, articles, web copy, and marketing materials), collaborating with subject matter experts and marketing teams, and continuously improving writing quality within the insurance, risk, and financial services context.

Responsibilities

• Content Creation & Delivery: Produce high-quality, client-centric written content across multiple formats including reports, hero articles, blogs, web copy, sales collateral, and campaign materials.
• Content Creation & Delivery: Conduct research and interview business subject matter experts to gather insights and develop differentiated perspectives in the content.
• Content Creation & Delivery: Edit and refine own content and assist with basic editing to maintain quality and consistency.
• Content Creation & Delivery: Deliver content within agreed deadlines while managing competing priorities effectively.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with senior writers, marketing, and campaign teams to ensure content aligns with strategic goals.
• Collaboration & Communication: Communicate effectively with subject matter experts and stakeholders to clarify content requirements and obtain timely inputs.
• Continuous Improvement & Learning: Actively seek and incorporate feedback to enhance writing quality and effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Typically requires 8-12 years of professional writing, content development, marketing communications, or editorial experience.
• Experience working with subject matter experts, to gather inputs and refine messaging.
