About this role
We are seeking an experienced SAP UI5/Fiori Developer to join Bristlecone Indias S4 HANA Technical - Delivery department. The Senior Consultant will design, develop, and optimize SAP Fiori applications using SAPUI5, JavaScript, OData, and SAP Gateway, ensuring high-quality, scalable solutions that meet business requirements and align with SAP best practices.
- Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in SAP UI5/Fiori development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and SAPUI5 framework.
- Extensive experience with OData services and SAP Gateway (OData V2/V4).
- Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and integration patterns.
- Proven track record of delivering end-to-end Fiori applications in a delivery environment.
- Experience with SAP Web IDE, Business Application Studio, or similar development tools.
- Knowledge of UI5 component lifecycle, MVC, and modern front-end design patterns.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in teams.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; SAP certification is a plus.
- Design, develop, and enhance SAP Fiori apps using SAPUI5, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and OData services.
- Integrate front-end components with SAP Gateway and back-end S/4HANA systems.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to ensure robust, high-performance applications.
- Implement UI5 best practices, performance tuning, and accessibility standards.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, design artifacts, and deployment guides.
- Support migration of legacy SAP GUI screens to modern Fiori UX.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and delivery reviews.
- Stay updated with SAP UI5/Fiori roadmap and incorporate new features where beneficial.
