Location: Bangalore
The Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Consultant - ERP & Digital Transformation with around 5-7 years of experience in ERP implementation, enterprise applications, functional consulting, and digital transformation to join our internal technology team.

The person will work across the ERP lifecycle - from business requirements, process mapping and solution design through configuration, data migration, integrations, testing, rollout, stabilization and ongoing enhancements. They will become an internal ERP functional SME and knowledge owner, working closely with business teams, implementation partners and developers while retaining strong internal understanding and ownership of the platform.
Beyond ERP, the role will contribute to digital transformation by identifying opportunities to simplify and automate business processes, improving how enterprise applications work together, supporting technology adoption, and helping translate business problems into practical technology solutions.
While a strong understanding of Finance and Accounting processes is required, particularly to support ERP implementations and enhancements, this is a technology and transformation role rather than a Finance position.
The Ideal Candidate
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in ERP implementation, Financial tech implementation expertise.
- Strong hands-on experience across ERP implementation and enhancement, beyond project or vendor coordination.
- Experience across at least one substantial end-to-end ERP implementation or rollout, including requirements, solution design, configuration, testing/UAT, data migration, integrations, go-live and stabilization.
- Experience with Oracle NetSuite or another major enterprise ERP platform; NetSuite experience will be preferred.
- Strong functional understanding of ERP platforms, including modules, configurations, workflows, master data, roles, transaction flows, integrations and customizations.
- Strong understanding of Finance and Accounting processes and the ability to work independently with Finance stakeholders on ERP requirements. Knowledge of areas such as GL, AP, AR, billing, revenue, budgeting, project accounting, reconciliations and financial controls is expected.
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional ERP solutions and work effectively with functional consultants, technical teams, developers and implementation partners.
- Experience in business-process analysis and improvement, with the ability to identify opportunities for simplification, standardization, automation and better use of technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the internal functional SME and knowledge owner for the ERP platform, developing strong understanding of its modules, configurations, workflows, master data, roles, integrations, customizations and dependencies. Lead or independently manage functional workstreams across ERP implementations, module rollouts, enhancements and upgrades. Conduct requirement workshops, process mapping and fit-gap analysis and translate business needs into functional requirements, process designs, workflows and configuration requirements. Maintain and prioritize ERP enhancements and ensure changes are appropriately designed, tested, documented and adopted.
- ERP Data, Integrations & Release Management: Manage ERP data migration, integrations, testing, releases, go-live and stabilization activities, ensuring data accuracy, system readiness and timely resolution of functional and integration issues.
- Business Process & Digital Transformation: Work with Finance, Projects, Operations, Procurement and other teams to understand business processes, pain points and technology requirements. Identify opportunities to redesign, simplify, standardize and automate processes using ERP and other enterprise technology capabilities. Translate business problems into practical technology solutions rather than simply automating existing processes. Contribute to digital transformation initiatives beyond ERP where processes span multiple enterprise applications or functions. Support evaluation and adoption of new platform capabilities, workflow automation and emerging technologies where they can improve business outcomes. Help ensure that enterprise applications and processes work together effectively rather than operating as isolated systems.
- Governance, Controls & Knowledge Management: Support appropriate ERP roles, permissions, approval workflows, segregation of duties and change controls. Ensure system configurations and workflows appropriately support business and financial controls. Maintain key functional documentation including process maps, configuration decisions, functional designs, role matrices, UAT artefacts, release documentation and known issues. Ensure effective knowledge transfer from implementation partners so that critical application knowledge is retained internally. Support user training, change communication and adoption for ERP and broader transformation initiatives.
- Stakeholder & Partner Management: Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology partner, translating business requirements into system solutions. Work closely with ERP implementation partners. Review vendor solution proposals, functional designs, estimates and recommendations and challenge them where required.
