Job Summary
Senior Backend Engineer
We re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help us design and build scalable, high-performance systems that power our SaaS platforms. You ll work primarily with Ruby on Rails and Go , building API-first , multi-tenant architectures that serve thousands of users reliably.
You ll be part of a small, fast-moving team collaborating closely with product, frontend, and infra engineers to ship features, improve performance, and make technical decisions that shape the platform s future. If you enjoy solving hard problems, care about clean architecture, and love building systems that last, you ll fit right in.
Skills Qualifications
- 6 10 years of experience in backend or platform engineering.
- Proficiency in Ruby on Rails , Go , or similar modern backend frameworks.
- Strong understanding of API design , data modeling , distributed systems , and multi-tenant SaaS architecture.
- Hands-on experience with MySQL , Redis , and data warehouses like Snowflake .
- Comfortable deploying and operating systems on AWS , using Docker and Terraform .
- Familiar with CI/CD , monitoring , and performance optimization.
- Understands the principles of secure API development , authentication , and authorization .
- Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent real-world experience).
