About this role
Role & responsibilities :
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend applications.
Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Python and FastAPI.
Develop clean, reusable, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
Design and optimize database structures, queries, and data models.
Integrate backend services with internal systems, third-party APIs, and external platforms.
Deploy, manage, and monitor applications using AWS cloud services.
Containerize applications using Docker and support deployment processes.
Identify and resolve bugs, performance issues, and production incidents.
Implement proper authentication, authorization, data security, and API security.
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding and architectural standards.
Preferred candidate profile
PostgreSQL RLS, OPA, ABAC
- Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
- OpenTelemetry and distributed tracing
- KMS, encryption, secrets management
- Multi-tenant SaaS architecture experience
- Prior experience in a senior/lead engineer role within a regulated fintech or
identity/security product company
