Sr. Automation Engineer - Senior Associate

Location: Coimbatore

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications using Selenium, Appium, and Java, TestNG
• Execute automated test cases, analyze results, and report defects using tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
• Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing using BrowserStack, SauceLabs, or similar tools.
• Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless quality assurance processes.
• Develop and maintain API automation scripts using RestAssured, Postman, or similar tools.
• Improve automation coverage and ensure robust, scalable test solutions.
• Identify, document, and track defects and issues.
• Stay updated with the latest QA automation trends, tools, and technologies.
• Required Skills Qualifications:6+ years of experience in Web, API Mobile Automation Testing.
• Proficiency in Java programming for automation scripting.
• Strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver for web automation.
• Hands-on experience with Appium for mobile automation (iOS Android).
• Experience in Automation framework development and test execution using TestNG.
• Strong understanding of BrowserStack, SauceLabs, or other cloud-based testing platforms.
• Experience in API testing and automation using RestAssured, Postman, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automation scripts with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience in Git/GitHub/GitLab for version control.
• Knowledge of SQL and database validation testing.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

• Knowledge of performance testing using JMeter or similar tools.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for test automation in containerized environments.
• Exposure to Cloud-based automation and testing strategies.
• ISTQB Certification is a plus.
