Sr Associate - Student Services

Job Summary

A Student Support specialist is tasked with actively reaching out to students, motivating them to complete the program and improving the overall learning experience of the students. This will lead to greater student satisfaction, higher enrolments and program completion rate - impacting both revenue and brand image. This role has individual contribution as well as technology led activity.

Work Location: Remote - Delhi

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer program activities and student support to enrolled and prospective students, such as course registration, graduation processing, petitioning, withdrawals, program documentation, computer accounts, information sessions and student orientation (online)
• Identify complex problems of student progression, ensure student satisfaction and retention through continuous communication and process improvement in cooperation with other departments and external stakeholders
• Keep students informed at all times about any updates to their selected programs by making announcements on the student platform or sending targeted messages
• Provide information, guidance and support to students regarding low active days, submissions and other important information
• Assist in development of goals and objectives for the student support unit.
• Maintain student records in databases, create and provide reports to serve as a contact point for enrolled and prospective student information
• Implement student recruitment initiatives and participate in the evaluation of such initiatives
• Develop or assist in the development and production of program advertising, promotional flyers and related recruitment initiatives
• Serve as liaison with student organizations and alumni
• Manage the Student support systems through Helpdesk
• Introducing new support platform, conducting analysis on student experience and recommend better methods
• Present analytics and give recommendations to enhance student experience

Qualification

• Bachelors Degree/PG

Competencies

• Excellent written and spoken communication skills (English proficiency), along with being friendly and energetic
• Skilled in organizing and prioritizing work activities
• Detail-oriented and able to think critically
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and related software
• Approachable and vibrant personality
• Ability to establish rapport and build relationships with prospective students
• Persistence coupled with a passion for education
• A proven track record of achieving measurable results in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
• Ability to guide prospective students through the university admissions process and overcome any obstacles that may arise
