Sr. Application Developer - Android

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Android Camera Application Developer for Android devices. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Android application development, a deep understanding of camera technologies, and a proven ability to optimize application performance and user experience.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• 3-8 years of experience in Android application development, with a focus on camera-related applications.
• Proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages, including JNI (Java Native Interface).
• Strong understanding of Jetpack libraries, design patterns, multithreading, and operating system concepts.
• In-depth knowledge of Android components (activities, fragments, services, broadcast receivers, and content providers).
• Expertise in the Camera2 API and image processing techniques.
• Excellent skills in bug analysis and resolution, with a focus on performance optimization.
• Proficient in using Android Profiler, Systrace, Logcat, and LeakCanary for debugging and performance tuning.
• Experience with version control management tools such as Git and Perforce, and a good understanding of the Gradle build system.
• Strong skills in unit and automation test case development.
• Must possess strong AI prompt writing skills for automatic code generation or bug fixing using coding agents like Cursor, Copilot, etc.

Additional advantages:

• Good understanding of C++ (for native code integration) and AI tools (for improving efficiency).
• Good at testing of Android camera applications and should be able to report critical/major/minor issues.
