We're seeking a Senior Analyst, Tax to join our finance team and drive tax strategy, compliance, and efficiency. If you're passionate about optimizing tax outcomes and thrive in a role that blends technical expertise with strategic thinking, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Responsible to ensure direct tax compliances including transfer pricing for one or more of Schneider India legal entity(ies).
- Responsible for IT computation, filing of IT returns and undertaking TP compliances.
- Support in managing Tax assessments/audits/litigations, drafting replies/appeals, dealing with consultants/advocates.
- Interface with the Auditors and support the finance team in finalization of statutory accounts, tax audit, etc.
- Provide strong support to Supervisor in the area of business advisory, planning strategizing.
- Periodic tax accounting reconciliations and MIS reporting.
- Develop sound understanding of business and accounting system.
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate should be a qualified Chartered Accountant with strong knowledge of direct tax laws of India having relevant tax experience of 3-4 years of post-qualification, preferably at a multinational manufacturing organization operating in India or Tier 1 or 2 tax consulting firms.
- Transfer pricing experience would be advantageous.
- Individual must be a team player, person of integrity who subscribes to high business ethical standards.
- Position requires interpersonal, communications and analytical skills.
