Sr Analyst - Financial Planning & Analysis

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Finance professional to join our team as an Sr. Analyst - Financial Planning and Analysis (FPA). This role is pivotal in driving financial insights, supporting strategic decision-making, and enhancing financial performance through robust planning, forecasting, and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Financial Planning Forecasting: Lead the preparation of annual budgets, periodic forecasts, and financial plans. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs and validate assumptions. Develop dynamic financial models to support scenario planning and sensitivity analysis.
• Performance Analysis Reporting: Analyze monthly financial performance against budget, highlighting key variances and trends. Prepare and present insightful dashboards and management reports for leadership. Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and recommend actionable insights.
• Business Partnering: Provide financial guidance and support to Operations and Onshore teams for strategic initiatives. Support cost optimization and efficiency improvement projects with data-driven recommendations.
• Data Management Automation: Leverage tools like Excel, Power Query, Power BI, Access, and ERP systems to automate reporting and streamline processes. Ensure data accuracy and integrity across financial systems and reports.
• Ad-hoc Analysis Strategic Projects: Conduct deep-dive analyses on business performance, pricing, profitability, and investment opportunities. Support MA evaluations, business cases, and other strategic finance initiatives as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

• CA/ CFA/ CMA/ MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification is preferred.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in FPA, preferably in IT/ ITES setup.
• Strong financial modeling, data analytics, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Advanced Excel, Power Query, and data visualization tools like Power BI is a must.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Team player with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
• High attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
