Sr AI Python Engineer - Immediate Joiner Required

We are seeking a highly skilled AI Python Engineer to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for a strong Python Backend Engineer who has practical exposure to modern AI technologies and LLM integrations. The primary focus of the role is building, maintaining, and optimizing scalable backend services, frameworks, APIs, and platform capabilities that power AI-driven applications.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable

backend services using Python.

• Build, enhance, and maintain REST APIs using

FastAPI and/or Flask.

• Design and implement

Microservices-based applications and

distributed systems.

• Build and support

Event-Driven Architectures for scalable and asynchronous workflows.

• Integrate and maintain

LLM APIs such as

OpenAI, Gemini, Vertex AI, Claude, and similar AI platforms.

• Evaluate and onboard new AI models, APIs, and services as business requirements evolve.
• Develop reusable backend components, libraries, frameworks, and platform capabilities.
• Improve application performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues and system bottlenecks.
• Containerize applications using Docker and support cloud-based deployments.
• Deploy, manage, and optimize applications on GCP (preferred) or AWS environments.
• Participate in technical design discussions, architecture reviews, and engineering planning.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance when required.
• Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices, coding standards, and maintainable software design.
• Stay current with emerging AI technologies, backend engineering practices, and cloud-native development trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in

Python backend development.

• Strong experience building and maintaining production-grade applications using FastAPI and/or Flask.
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs, backend services, and

Microservices-based applications.

• Hands-on experience working with

Event-Driven Architectures and asynchronous processing workflows.

• Experience integrating and consuming

LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Gemini, Vertex AI, Anthropic Claude, or similar AI platforms.

• Strong understanding of software design principles, backend architecture, and scalable application development.
• Experience working with Docker and containerized application deployments.
• Proficiency with Git and modern version control workflows.
• Experience deploying and supporting applications on GCP (preferred) or AWS environments.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills in production environments.
• Experience working with distributed systems, API integrations, and backend framework development is highly preferred.
• Ability to understand, extend, and maintain existing codebases, libraries, and reusable frameworks.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to mentor junior engineers when required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) applications.
• Familiarity with Embedding Models and Vector Databases.
• Experience with LLM orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or similar technologies.
• Exposure to AI platform engineering, model integrations, and agent-based workflows.
• Experience working in a fast-paced product or platform engineering environment.
