Sr. Accounts Officer

As a Senior Accounts Officer, you will be responsible for managing month-end financial processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Month-End & Pre-Close Activities

• Prepare and manage the Pre-Close/End-of-Month activities checklist to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Clear bank open items and perform reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
• Execute reclassifications and accruals based on inputs from the operations team.
• Calculate and process management fees as per revenue-sharing agreements in contracts.

Financial Accuracy & Compliance

• Conduct double checks on general ledger security to identify and correct discrepancies.
• Ensure proper allocation of expenses and revenues in compliance with financial policies.
• Collaborate with relevant teams to resolve any outstanding financial discrepancies.

Financial Reporting

• Prepare comprehensive financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide a clear view of the property's financial performance.
• Provide financial insights and variance analysis to support business decision-making.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of financial reconciliations, accruals, and reclassifications
• Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools
• Attention to detail and ability to identify and rectify errors in financial records
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong time management to meet deadlines effectively
