Job Summary
Role Overview: A premium label manufacturing company in Surat, Gujarat, India, is hiring a Senior Accounts Officer to independently manage accounts finalisation, GST, TDS, and core compliance. This is a stable, hands-on role with strong ownership of accounting operations and direct reporting to management.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and perform GSTR-2A reconciliation.
- Prepare Accounts Finalisation data and submit to CA.
- Handle TDS calculations, entries, and timely filing of returns.
- Perform Bank Reconciliation.
- Manage juniors.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing for all transactions.
- Maintain up-to-date ledgers and provide data for internal reporting.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 3 or 3+ years of accounting experience.
- Strong command in accounts finalisation, GST TDS.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP MS Excel.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles.
- Ability to work independently with accuracy.
