Sr. Account Executive, Uber Advertising

About the Team

Uber Advertisings vision is to offer the most marketplace-centric advertising, connecting Uber's platform users (riders and earners) with advertisers. Uber Advertisings platform brings together location-based data across its mobility products for brand campaigns, enabling advertisers to engage with our consumers through deep, impactful media surfaces.

The Uber Advertising Sales team is looking for strategic sellers to be founding members of our newly formed Uber Advertising division. As a Sr. Account Executive, aka Sr. Client Partner, you will be responsible for building mutually helpful ads partnerships with our large clients and agency partners. You will own the ads sales strategy for a portfolio of top brands and drive adoption of a growing suite of ads offerings across our Mobility platform. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to consistently deliver on our partners marketing objectives.

What youll do

1. Execute ads partnership strategies that deliver on your partners' marketing objectives and exceed quarterly growth goals. Build relationships with Director, VP, and C-level marketing executives and key marketing decision-makers within partner organizations.
2. Employ critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills to navigate relationships and difficult partner conversations. Be an indispensable cross-functional partner across the Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure we are delivering on partner needs.
3. Expand ads product adoption across our Mobility offerings. Clearly communicate the value of our newest ads products with a lens of creativity to differentiate our offerings.
4. Develop pitch narratives that scale across our Ads team and drive growth for our partners. Be the voice of the customer to help inform future Ads product roadmaps.

What youll need

1. At least 8+ years of full-time sales experience in end-to-end enterprise / large customers in digital advertising. Experience selling advertising solutions or net new partnerships to large, complex enterprise brands and organizations.
2. Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills. Ability to build and execute strategic sales plans that result in success for our partners and Uber.
3. Creative storyteller with the ability to utilize data to quantify opportunities and influence decision-makers. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and navigating ambiguity.
