Job Description L0 Application Support Intern / Fresher

Stipend: 6,000–7,000 per month

Role Overview

We are looking for a fresher or intern interested in starting a career in application support. The selected candidate will assist users with basic application issues, record support requests and escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for basic application support queries.
• Receive and record incidents and service requests through email, phone or a ticketing tool.
• Understand the issue reported by the user and collect the required details.
• Perform basic troubleshooting using available guidelines and standard operating procedures.
• Assist users with common issues such as login difficulties, password resets and basic application navigation.
• Escalate unresolved or complex issues to the L1/L2 support team.
• Follow up on open tickets and provide status updates to users.
• Maintain accurate records of issues, actions taken and resolutions.
• Monitor the status of assigned tickets and support timely closure.
• Learn about the application, support processes and frequently reported issues.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of computers, Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office.
• Basic understanding of applications and common troubleshooting steps.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to listen to users and document issues clearly.
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a support team.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, databases or ticketing tools will be an added advantage.

Qualification

• Any graduate or final-year student interested in an application support role.
• BCA, BSc IT/Computer Science, BE/BTech or a related qualification is preferred.
