SQL Server Administrator / SQL DBA

IPosition: SQL Server Administrator / SQL DBA

Primary Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server environments.
• Manage database backup, restore, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
• Monitor database health, performance, availability, and capacity.
• Perform SQL query and database performance tuning.
• Analyze execution plans and optimize indexes and queries.
• Configure and maintain SQL Server Always On Availability Groups and other high-availability solutions.
• Manage database security, users, roles, permissions, and access controls.
• Configure and monitor SQL Server Agent jobs.
• Troubleshoot database incidents, performance issues, connectivity problems, and production failures.
• Automate routine database administration activities using T-SQL and PowerShell.
• Support database migrations, upgrades, and production deployments.
• Work closely with application, development, infrastructure, and DevOps teams.
