SQL Server Developer Job Summary We are looking for an experienced PostgreSQL + SQL Server Developer with strong expertise in database development, performance optimization, and SQL programming. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise database solutions while ensuring high availability, scalability, and data integrity. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain database solutions using PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
• Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing to improve application performance.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes for data migration and integration.
• Monitor database health, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure high availability.
• Implement database backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Collaborate with application developers to design efficient database schemas and optimize data access.
• Support database deployments, upgrades, and migrations across environments.
• Ensure database security, access control, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for database architecture, processes, and procedures. Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–6+ years of experience working with PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Strong expertise in SQL programming, stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, and cursors.
• Experience in database design, normalization, and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience in query optimization and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of backup, recovery, replication, and database maintenance.
• Experience with ETL processes and data migration.
• Familiarity with transaction management, indexing strategies, and execution plan analysis.
• Experience using version control systems such as Git.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with cloud database platforms such as AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database, or Google Cloud SQL.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Shell scripting.
• Experience with database monitoring and administration tools.
• Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Technical Skills
